Hand wash or use the wool/delicate cycle at no higher than 30 °C. Use a liquid detergent without bleach or enzymes; do not soak for long or rub textured areas. Rinse in water of the same temperature to avoid shrinking. Do not wring: gently press out water using a terry towel. Dry flat in shape, checking dimensions and restoring the shape of ears, footies and ribbing. Do not dry on a radiator or in direct sun. Steam only through a damp cloth without pressure; for merino prefer wet blocking. Store folded rather than on a hanger. Periodically check tie strength and for any stretched stitches.
