Honey Bees 🐝

A warm baby set “Honey Bees” combines a button-up cardigan, pants, a bonnet and tiny booties. A soft beige shade is effectively complemented by a deep chocolate-burgundy color, and embroidered bees give the ensemble a lively character. Especially successful are the winged ruffle details on the shoulders, neat button bands, elastic cuffs and the expressive ties on the booties. Stitches are even, the fit looks considered, and the finishing is clean. The booties begin with a dense sole, most likely in garter stitch. After picking up side stitches, the walls and toe are formed with successive decreases. Hand wash or use a gentle wool cycle at no more than 30 °C (86 °F). Use a liquid detergent without bleach and avoid fabric conditioner when merino wool is present. Do not soak for long, avoid rubbing the embroidery and do not wring the garment. After washing, gently remove water using a terry towel, reshape pieces to measurements and dry flat away from radiators and direct sunlight. Dry the booties with a soft filler to preserve shape. Do not tumble dry. Steam is allowed only through a damp cloth, avoiding direct contact of the iron with textured embroidery and elastic ribs. Store folded with buttons fastened; regularly check the security of buttons and the condition of ties.
