Materials

• Worsted/aran weight yarn (approx. 200–250 m / 100 g), fibre approx. wool/half‑wool or acrylic: sage — ~60–80 g
• Yarn of the same weight: steel‑grey — ~40–60 g
• Thread for cord (can be main yarn held double) — ~10–15 g
• Needles in an appropriate size (approximately 3.5–4.5 mm)
• Tapestry needle for sewing, scissors
• Optional: cord tips/beads, lining fabric

Care instructions

Hand wash or use a delicate machine cycle at 30°C in a laundry bag, with a mild wool/knit detergent. Do not wring — press out water in a towel. Dry flat on a level surface, shaping the corners and the top of the casing. Do not dry on a radiator. If needed, lightly steam through a pressing cloth without pressing the iron onto the fabric. Gently comb the cord and tassels with fingers; trim any frayed ends.
