Peach Bunny 🐰

The peach “bunny” set turns a reborn doll into an especially touching little child. The tunic is worked in stockinette stitch, complemented by an expressive lace-relief panel, a flared peplum and a long knitted tie. The bonnet with soft elongated bunny ears neatly frames the face, and the garter-stitch trim emphasizes the handmade finish. The tie is a narrow knitted cord or strip worked on a few stitches; it is threaded at the waist level and tied in a bow. The bonnet is shaped with a rounded back and a wide garter-stitch front band. The long bunny ears are knitted as separate symmetrical pieces, slightly tapered to the ends and neatly attached to the top. Ties are made from the same yarn. For final finishing the pieces should be gently washed, laid out to measurements and dried without stretching. Seams and ear attachments are best done with mattress stitch or Kitchener stitch, and yarn ends secured inside the fabric so as not to create bulk.

Hand wash recommended at up to 30 °C in cool water with a liquid wool or delicate fiber detergent. Do not soak for long, do not rub or wring the ears, cords and relief panel. After rinsing gently press the item between towels to remove excess water, reshape to measurements and dry flat away from radiators and direct sunlight. Do not tumble dry. If needed, steam from the wrong side through a damp cloth without pressing the iron onto the relief pattern. Store flat; do not tie long cords around the doll during storage.
