Creamy Teddy 🧸

A gentle “creamy” teddy — soft, kind, and very gift‑worthy. The toy is knitted with needles in stockinette stitch with separate pieces (head, body, legs, ears) and seamed together; the seated pose works well and the proportions are clear. Plastic eyes and nose give a neat facial expression, but because the fabric is fairly loose the surface looks slightly “meshy,” and tension differences are noticeable at bends. Photos are clean and clear, the background is calm, the toy is shown frontally and is easy to see.
Knitting method and techniques
Knitting with needles, pieces knitted separately, stockinette stitch, seamed assembly, stuffing
Materials
- Light yarn (milky/cream shade), medium weight (approximately 50–80 g)
- Stuffing: polyester fiberfill/hollowfibre (about 40–70 g)
- Plastic black eyes (2 pcs.)
- Plastic black nose (1 pc.)
- Sewing thread/yarn in a matching color for shaping and attaching pieces
- Tapestry/sewing needles for joining pieces
Care instructions
Hand wash gently at 30°C in warm water with a mild detergent. Do not soak for long, do not scrub the face and the eye/nose attachments. Rinse gently, do not wring: press out through a towel. Dry only flat, reshaping the paws and head, away from radiators and direct sunlight. If needed — light steaming from a distance (do not press the iron) to avoid flattening the volume. Occasionally shake and reshape the stuffing by hand.
