Pastel Bunny 🐰

A very soft pastel melange set that immediately evokes a “premium baby” feel: a bonnet with ties, a buttoned cardigan with neat bobble details, comfortable pants and booties. The ribbing is even, the fit looks well thought out, and the edge finishing is clean. The yarn produces soft color transitions, so even simple striping looks rich. The look is completed with cute props and a very pleasant, calm presentation.

Cuffs, the bottom of the cardigan and the bonnet edging are worked in 1×1 rib (2×2 rib is possible in some areas) for good fit and elasticity; the ribbing looks even without visible tension dips. Cardigan decoration — raised bobbles are created by making several stitches out of one and then working them together a few rows later. For a neat result it's important to keep bobble height consistent and not to pull strands too tight — here the texture reads cleanly and softly. The closure is implemented with buttonbands and sewn-on buttons: the band is worked denser than the main fabric to hold its shape. The bonnet is shaped at the crown with decreases/increases and has ties (cord/chain), the booties have a firm sole and instep shaping, and the pants have a soft fit with ribbed cuffs. Finishing calls for a gentle blocking/wet finishing to even the fabric and stabilize dimensions.

Washing: hand wash or machine wash on 'Delicate/Wool' cycle at 20–30°C, in a laundry bag, with liquid detergent for baby/wool items. Spin: minimal (up to 400–600 rpm) or no spin — blot with a towel. Drying: lay flat only on a towel, shaping ribbing and bands. Ironing: do not press with an iron; if necessary use light steaming through a damp pressing cloth, avoiding stretching the bobbles. Storage: fold flat, fasten buttons to prevent the band from deforming.
