The button placket is worked quite densely, which helps keep the edge line. The body and sleeves show alternation of textures and color sections; occasionally lacey lanes or scalloped transitions are used, creating a dressy but not overloaded look. Cuffs and lower parts of the pieces are finished with ribbing to provide gentle fit. Hand wash or delicate machine cycle at 30 °C with a liquid detergent for wool and baby clothes. Do not rub or wring. After washing, gently blot in a towel and dry flat in shape on a horizontal surface, shaping all parts. Do not dry on a radiator or in direct sunlight. Steam only through a damp cloth or with low steam without heavy pressure, especially over ribbing and lace sections. Store folded, not on a hanger.
