Ruby Snowflake ❄️

A ruby lace snowflake pendant — a striking holiday accent that looks especially beautiful on a tree, in a window, or on gift wrapping. The pattern reads well, the rays are expressive, and there are decorative picots along the edge. The work is neat, but the piece would benefit from firmer shaping: some branches wander slightly and stitch tension varies in places. The color is well chosen — festive, with a nice sheen to the yarn.

Dry cleaning is preferable: gently remove dust with a soft brush or lint roller. If soiled — hand wash in cool water (up to 30°C) with a mild detergent without bleach, do not rub. Press out through a towel without wringing. Lay flat on a blocking surface, spread the rays and pin, dry in the pinned shape. If stiffness is lost, re-starch/soak with starch and let dry on the blocker. Store flat to avoid deforming the picots.
